We understand that due to rising living costs, this is an option that many people may now consider making part of their approach to Dental Care, to help keep their health an affordable priority. We want to keep this high standard of Dentistry as accessible as possible for all.

Denplan customers receive the best possible service from a UK-based call centre from the moment they join, as well as also receiving support from the Team at Lowen Dental Spa.

We are more than happy to answer any questions that you may have about this service at Lowen, as there are two types of Denplan, Care or Essentials and we ant to help you find the best option for you with our personalised approach keeping you and your needs at the centre of your care.

Denplan Care is a monthly payment plan which helps patients pay for their routine and restorative dental treatment. To access Denplan Care you will need to be deemed 'Dentally Fit' at an examination by one of our Dentists. 

  • After an initial Oral Health Assessment or routine check up, you’ll be placed into one of five fee categories, based on your current oral health need and the amount of dental work that has already taken place. 
  • This will determine which fee bracket you fall into. At Lowen Dental Spa these range from Band A at £19.20, to Band E at £66.27
  • The Denplan Care prices include optional worldwide dental emergency and injury insurance cover. If you choose not to have this, your monthly fee decreases by 60p

Routine and restorative dental care includes:

  • Check-ups
  • Hygiene treatment - including scaling and polishing
  • Dental X-rays
  • Necessary fillings
  • Preventative dental advice and therapy
  • Any necessary extractions
  • Periodontal (gum) treatment
  • Crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays (excluding laboratory fees)
  • Root canal treatment

Denplan Care does not cover:

  • Laboratory fees and prescriptions
  • Any treatment excluded by the dentist in the contract which is payable at the private fee rates such as cosmetic work
  • Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
  • Treatment carried out anywhere other than by your registered Dentist at Lowen Dental Spa, Romsey. 
  • Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic dental treatment

 

Denplan Essentials is a popular plan, which helps patients budget for their routine preventative dental care.

  • Seeing a Dentist regularly can help you avoid having to undergo costly and more invasive restorative treatments
  • It is easy to set up, no pre-assessment necessary. You can even register online here!
  • You and your Dentist will decide how often you need to visit, and which Band you will qualify for.
    Band A allows for 2 dental check-ups a year, and 2 hygienist appointments
    Band B allows for 2 dental check-ups a year, and 4 hygienist appointments
  • You’ll need to pay for any restorative dental treatment necessary, such as crowns, bridges or fillings, but at Lowen Dental Spa, we provide our Denplan Essentials patients with a 10% discount on clinically
    necessary treatment
  • Denplan Essentials prices include optional worldwide dental emergency and injury insurance cover. If you choose not to have this, your monthly fee decreases by 60p

Routine dental care includes:

  • Check-ups - up to your claim limit
  • Scaling, polishing and other hygiene treatment up to your claim limit
  • Dental X-rays
  • Any additional treatment included by your dentist in the contract at a reduced price
  • Preventative dental advice

Denplan Essentials does not cover:

  • Restorative dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures - at the discretion of the dentist
  • Laboratory fees and prescriptions
  • Any treatment excluded by the dentist in the contract 
  • Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
  • Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment

At Lowen Dental Spa we are passionate about breaking many of the stereotypes that many generations have about scary visits to the Dentist. That is why we see children up to school age complimentary if they have a Parent register and being seen at Lowen. We strongly believe that this will help build their confidence in visiting the Dental Setting, and provide parents with an invaluable opportunity to put their minds at rest and get essential advice as their child grows. 

At Lowen Dental Spa, we have priced Children's check ups in a way that means it is accessible on an as per required basis. If you are interested in a payment plan for a child please do let us know and we can discuss ways in which we may be able to accommodate you.
